Keys

Introduction

Keys are used to identify who you are when requesting data from the API. In Some Random API, we have 3 different tiers with various methods of getting them. All keys are obtained through running the -claim command If you lost your key, run the /key command or visit the dashboard @ https://some-random-api.ml/dashboard/me All keys are linked to your Discord account Sharing keys are prohibited (publicly, key sharing is allowed with team members) To use keys, just attach another query named key. ie. https://some-random-api.ml/animal/panda?key=helloworld

tiers

Tier 1

To obtain this key, you can vote at Top.gg and run the -claim command. This key will only give 5 days of tier 1 premium (You can vote every 12 hours and this will infinitely stack)

  1. Join the server at Discord Invite
  2. Vote at Top.gg
  3. The webhook in #vote-log should ping you
  4. Run the -claim command in #testing
  5. The bot will dm you a key (this key will only last 5 days)
  6. To extend the length of the key, repeat this process.

Tier 2

Donate @ https://patreon.com/somerandomapi (Tier 1 - $3/mo subscription) Then run -claim command in the discord server

Tier 3

Donate @ https://patreon.com/somerandomapi (Tier 2 - $5/mo subscription) Then run the -claim command in the discord server
